How The Process Works:

Here is a clear breakdown of how the custom order process works:

1. Purchase: Once you have purchased your custom order, I will reach out to you via email to begin the collaboration process. We will discuss your vision and preferences for the design of your hand-painted hat.

2. Find a Hat: It is important for you to find a full brim hat that you love. This can be a hat you already own, something you find at a thrift store, or a hat you purchase online. By providing your own hat, you ensure that it fits you perfectly and matches your desired style.

3. Shipping: You will need to send your chosen hat to my studio. I will provide you with detailed shipping instructions via email to ensure a smooth process.

4. Inspiration: Take a look at the gallery page on my website for inspiration or feel free to share your own photos of flowers, wedding bouquets, or any other elements you would like to incorporate into the design. This will help us to create a customized design that truly reflects your personal style and preferences.

5. Collaboration and Design: We will work together to finalize the design for your hand-painted hat. I will provide sketches  to give you an idea of what the final product will look like. We can make revisions until you are completely satisfied.

6. Completion and Shipping: Once your custom hand-painted hat is finished, I will carefully package it and ship it back to you.

Time Lines 

I am an artist who specializes in slow fashion, which means that I create each piece by hand and work independently. When we collaborate on designing your hat, we will have close communication throughout the process to ensure that we create the perfect design for you. This collaborative phase can take up to 2 weeks. Once the design is finalized, it takes approximately 1-2 weeks to paint the hat, depending on the complexity of the design.

To ensure a timely completion of your order, it is important for you to send your hat to my studio as soon as possible. As soon as your hat arrives, you will be added to my custom list. However, please note that there may be other client orders ahead of yours. Overall, the entire process typically takes around three weeks from the time I am able to begin working on your order.
